Cheers to the memories!

Cheers
Sometimes there are fun little memories. Like cheersing. (is that even a word? Oh well, it is now.) It is so cute to see there little faces smile as they say "cheers" or utter a word like that in their cute little kid talk then clink the glasses and take a sip of juice. Then want to do it all over again even if their cup is empty or request more juice just so they can "cheers" all over again.
Always remember these memories because time goes by so fast. The kids are only little for so long.

They're COMING!!!

Kenleigh and Jocelyn had a friend over. He was about Kenleigh's age. They were playing with the dogs. The dogs are rather large dogs.
One of the dogs was barking at me to let her go outside so I opened the door and both dogs go outside. A couple of minutes later I hear the kids tiptoeing around the corner and whispering about the dogs. Then they would run back to the girls room because they thought they had heard the dogs coming to get them. Little did they know that I had let the dogs outside and they were no longer in the house. That gave me a good laugh.
They come to me and ask where the dogs are. I reply "Where do you think they are?" Kenleigh says, "I know where they are." and starts tiptoeing into the dogs bedroom. I quickly go to the backdoor and try and let the dogs back in before the kids come back. The kids come rushing out of the bedroom saying "Where are the dogs?" but once they see them they respond with "Hey!" and then run. I highly doubt the dogs wanted to chase them. They were perfectly content to lay on the cool tile floor.

Pizza Yuck!

Who doesn't like pizza? Well as far as I knew no one. But apparently there is one two and a half year old out there who doesn't and today I found her.
The pizza was delivered as I was watching the kids. One 5 year old, Kenleigh, and the other 2 and a 1/2 year old, Jocelyn.
As Kenleigh was playing with her friend, Jocelyn was getting hungry. So I told her to take a seat and she told me "I don't like pizza" so I said "What would you like?" as I am rummaging through the fridge I remember there are hot dogs. "You want a hot dog Joce?" "Yes" is her simple reply with a nod of her head. "Ok, I'll heat it up for you. Have a seat."
Finally the hot dog has been heated and cut up. I am eating my pizza and a bread stick. and she said "Yum" so after I took a bite of my bread stick I mimicked her and said "Yum!" we do that back and forth a couple of times. Then she said "No, hot dog yummy. Pizza yuck!" and made a face. Then she proceeds to point to the sliced up hot dog and say "yummy!" then points to the pizza and says "yuck!" and repeats 3 times.
I must say kids have a mind of there own. When she gets older I will remind her how much she did not like pepperoni pizza.

Silly Songs

Tonight when it was dessert time, the dessert of the night was pudding. Kenleigh was eating it and joce too. Some how we got into singing about it. She sang it to the tune of "I'm a little tea pot."
Here are some of the lyrics: (some I couldn't make it out in time to write it down.)
I'm a little pudding in a cup
I can turn into anything

Then it got changed into talking about something else but same tune.
I'm a little ____ (something I couldn't make out)__ I can see the stars up high
I can see you when you're up high
I know you're small
The word of the Lord is to share
(something about ) people imaginary
shake their hand
