Evening at the pool

My assignment today with the girls was pool duty. The nice thing about it was that the community pool was empty so it was just the three of us. We packed everything noodles, a turtle boogie board, towels, floaties, flip-flops, sunscreen, and of course the card to get in.
But before we left for the pool we had to find a little round floatie, like an intertube, for Joce to float in. I looked everywhere. I texted the mom and asked where it might be. I looked in the garage, in the laundry room, the rack where all the pool supplies is kept, back in the garage. And I had no idea really what I was looking for, after 15 minutes of searching, I found it tucked away behind the fridge in the garage. We rejoiced once we found it because now we could head to the pool.
Everything packed and ready to go!
We, I mean I loaded up the stroller and headed out the door.
My view of the walk to the pool
We had lots of fun playing in the pool. When it got just about time to head back home to get pizza we realized that there was some little piece of something on the bottom of the pool. Kenleigh dived for it, I ended up having to help but she is getting to be a good little swimmer. After finding a few more pieces we figured out that it wasn't someone else debree, it was Kenleigh's water shoe, her little toes were popping out. :/
It was time to get out, we loaded up the stroller and headed home. While waiting for the pizza, Joce wanted yogurt so I got her out some and while she at Kenleigh and I were singing and dancing. Joce would tell us to stop and we would freeze, then a couple seconds later she would say "ok, go!" we did that off and on for a bit. Then I remembered Joce's birthday was tomorrow so Kenleigh and I made up some song about it being her birthday and how Joce is a hero. Joce's response to that, "Stop, hero eating you know. Be quiet!" I thought that was so funny! :)

While we waited we also dressed up the dog in sunglasses, oh how the dog enjoyed that.
The ever so stylish doggie in mama's sunglasses. Shhh! ;)
